Trying to see every banned movie, my failed search for "The Life of Brian" revealed "Not the Messiah: He's a Very Naughty Boy", a musical with an enormous orchestra and an enormouser chorus. It was musically and lyrically and visually hilarious. I didn't even know it existed.

I've been watching televised awards shows since their inception. I have no idea how many I've seen. The #75thEmmys Awards show was the best awards show I've ever seen! Kudos to the producers and directors for having done an absolutely outstanding job.

@ChristianeAmanpour The clip of @jacobcollier in India made me cry, a warm, deeply satisfying cry. I wish to have seen more of it. Why not reports from Palestine/Israel, Ukraine and other war-torn places? I actually turn away and try not to hear those reports.

I think I was the only one in the audience laughing uncontrollably during the opening scenes of “Barbie” making me wonder what I didn't get as the movie played. It was fun despite the misandry.

I've never heard Melba's Kitchen play better than on January 13 and I've never heard them play better music for dancing as we did on the Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse's excellent floor. It was a very good evening!
