Three waves of ballistic missiles have been launched at Kyiv by Russian “humanitarians” since yesterday evening. They used 21 missiles. Unfortunately, numerous sites across the city have been hit and damaged: ordinary residential buildings, energy facilities, infrastructure at one of the railway stations and the metro, shopping malls, and businesses. Even a monastery is among the damaged sites. Our emergency services are working at all the affected locations. Twelve of our regions came under Russian attack overnight. In Kyiv and across the regions, 34 people were injured, including five children. As of now, two people have been confirmed killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Almost immediately after another round of talks, Russia launched a pointed attack. This means there has been no real change in its attitude toward everything that is happening. It is important to keep trying to find the right solutions to end this war. But when Russia responds to negotiations with ballistic missiles, real pressure on Russia is needed to bring about different steps – steps toward ending the killing. Stronger air defenses and the rapid delivery of missiles, the ability to destroy ballistic missile launchers, sanctions over the war – all of this must be in place. I am grateful to everyone who sees the situation for what it is and acknowledges the reality. The aggressor deserves to be treated accordingly. Ukraine deserves support. People's lives deserve protection. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine!

Today, russia struck a public park in Nova Vodolaha, Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, killing six people: three women, one man, and two little girls born in 2015 and 2025. Fifteen others were injured, including seven children. For President Trump, apparently, this is what “they haven’t been doing much” looks like. Meanwhile the U.S. is still withholding approval for deliveries of Patriot interceptor missiles that have already been contracted and paid for by Ukraine’s allies.

If people want elections in Ukraine, then they should be pressuring Putin to end the war. The reason there’s no elections in Ukraine right now is because Ukraine is under Martial law due to the nonstop state of emergency and active state of war that has consumed the country for 5 years. When Putin ends the war, I’m sure there will be an election in Ukraine. It seems counterintuitive to ask Ukraine to replace Zelenskyy when an election can and will happen once Putin agrees to end the war. Putin can easily stop attacking Ukraine. He refuses. End the war and Ukraine will have an election. Why aren’t more people angry with Putin? He’s the source of every issue concerning the Russia-Ukraine war.

Russian strikes killed over 80 Ukrainian civilians in two days. Moreover, it has stepped up its hybrid attacks against Europe, both EU Member States and NATO Allies. Suspending sanctions on Russian diesel provides Moscow with more revenues to wage war. This is not the time to ease pressure on Russia, and Europe won’t. On Monday, EU Foreign Ministers intend to approve the biggest set of sanctions listings targeting Russia’s war machine since the start of the war.

So let's get this straight: Russia just murdered over 65 people in Ukraine in less than 48 hours. Crushed a building on top of sleeping families to celebrate Putin's birthday. And today, the U.S. announces that they are lifting sanctions on Russian diesel and planning to buy some, essentially becoming sponsors of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Just a day after a horrific terrorist attack by Russia that killed so many, and just before the winter when the Russian government screams from all the rooftops that they are going to create a humanitarian catastrophe in Ukraine by destroying our infrastructure. This is just such a low and cruel betrayal that it's hard to wrap my head around...
