@Chazingdra Made me smile seeing you feature my Louisville mega bax team on this, and I got a good chuckle out of Kosta’s reaction to the choice. Let me know if you want the paste.

@metalmelonmon I can dm you the rental now, the team itself is a bit tricky but I can explain the main evs at least real quick in the dm

@VenomenonVGC I don’t use twitter much so I don’t know how the new “chat” works but I just sent you it

@MichaelderBeste @polar721 Base Swampert got me 40th and 9-3 at Louisville. It’s just so bulky with some great support moves.

@PeaceOfYoshi @Saibon_ This was me! Mega Bax was awesome throughout and the primary mega on the team. I’m happy to discuss more if anyone wants to try to make Mega Bax work. My only previous day 2 was actually with Bax in Reg F when barely anyone was using it so I’ve been using Bax for awhile

@VenomenonVGC I was legit so motivated on day 2 being the only mega bax player in day 2 so keep fighting the good fight 🫡 Volc to me was the most important piece to make Bax work, but I went full on support

@DDyarados @MoxieBoosted This mon carried me & mega bax to 9-3, people just gotta go back to full bulk support instead of trying to pretend Tera still exists.

@the_acetrainer The volc was definitely the most important piece on my team (support Swampert also very good), but I also just think Mega Bax kind of rips a lot of the format if you know how to manage glaive rush, know when to rip swords dance, and ev bulk to live the right threats.

@Zapboat1 Sick. What set are you using with Hippowdon? I love that mon. I hit champions tier twice with Hippo - once before Indy and once before NAIC - on similar but slightly different teams. Just the combination of Yawn and High Horsepower (and obv providing sand) did so much work for me

@JoeyPokeaim @LexiconVGC I lost to this archetype in an under 0.4% usage limitless tourney topcut and it was the only team tonyflygon lost to in Swiss before tonyflygon beat it in top cut and won the whole thing. Dude is on a different level if he can work it in M-B

@Bruneaux I was their non-Mawile unwinnable matchup round 4 loss, Simisage showed up to game 2, got a fake out off first turn, next turn attacked into a protect and barely lived a hit surprisingly, then it died to sand chip.

@GyrotheGoat @45mice I haven’t actually tested it, so have you seen that interaction for the priority on non-priority moves after encore in champions? Whims encore my own baxcalibur into priority icicle shard/glaive rush after clicking ice shard was one of my favorite niche strategies in S/V.

@GyrotheGoat @45mice I believe this was specifically changed with champions

@LAGRIENZO @cecililytweets Grass/Fairy really does feel like the way and with a good ability it could make up for a lot. Azumarill and Whimsicott are good examples of how much adding the fairy type and getting a good ability can do for a Pokemon

@HS_Disq @ShovonBarakat @HSesports They invited him to compete in Org though and revoked his prize money after he competed. If he wasn’t eligible they shouldn’t have decided to invite him.
