We at @THSTOfficial are devastated to learn that our former board member and secretary Pete Haine passed away at home this morning following a ten month battle with pancreatic cancer. Pete was the best of men and will be missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Jill, his family and close friends. Rest in Peace Pete.
@THSTOfficial Ah, no. That's very sad news. Pete was always really supportive of the FSA, a great advocate for Spurs fans and - most importantly - a lovely fella. RIP Pete.
RIP Pete. A top guy. I used to chat to Pete at many games and we would exchange opinions about our beloved club, Tottenham Hotspur. I first met him on 14 June 2018 - he didn't know me but he wanted to support me and The Willow Foundation during a charity event I was doing - we ran around the Lamex Stadium together. He also invited me to a Trust function a year later. That's the sort of guy he was - helpful, supportive and made you feel welcome. I'll miss seeing and chatting to you Pete. My thoughts and condolences to the family 🙏 X
@THSTOfficial Top man. Sincerest condolences to Jill. RIP Peter 🙏
