BREAKING NEWS: Over the 4-day #MemorialDayWeekend, TSA screened almost 9.8M individuals at airports nationwide, which is about 300K higher than the same holiday weekend in 2019. Friday’s final volume of about 2.74M is our highest post pandemic single day record.
@TSA @DHSgov Thanks, DHS, you’re doing a great job. #KaylaHamilton
@TSA At Miami airport 6:56 PM. TSA pre-check line longer than regular line! One officer checking documents!!
@TSA That’s a crazy huge number. Glad I waited to fly home later in the week.
@TSA Why are screenings so inconsistent? After multiple flights, I was given new directions this morning at JFK that no one had heard prior, but other travelers at the SAME airport were screened by the usual. The screener yelled at us for not complying immediately. Makes no sense.
@TSA We rolled thru passport control and customs at IAD returning from FRA yesterday, thanks for having extra agents working!
@TSA I was a traveler this past Memorial weekend and TSA stole out of my checked luggage! You follow all the rules and put items that you can’t carry on the plane, only to have them stolen from you! As far as I’m concerned TSA agents are thieves that travelers have to put up with.
@TSA Incredible work! Not possible unless everyone was prepped and ready to give their all. Thank you for making Memorial Day great for all travelers!
