Interesting issue I've had during my #dotnetMAUI learning journey: Access to Resources/Raw must be async, unlike app data directory, because resources are embedded in app package, so must be decompressed from it in platform-specific way using potentially blocking I/O operations.
While writing a game using .NET MAUI, I've found that the standard gesture recognizers are very limited. #TapGestureRecognizer only fires an event when the touch is released, and #PointerGestureRecognizer doesn't work at all on Android. Very annoying! #dotnetmaui #mauiday

The Windows utility app for creating the layout files for the game's levels - placing walls and particles/balls over a background image - is now finished, at least enough to be usable. So I'm using it to create levels. #physicsgames #freegames #physicsfun #dotnetmaui #mauiday
