@DevilsA62669071 @insiderJmoney He was not blindsided he turned and had his down going to round the net and stopped it just happened he had two guys in pursuit from both sides of the ice. Playoff hockey bud.

@CDesjardins67 @brenmidov Agreed, he hasn't shown a glimpse of deserving to be PP1 but he's trying to adjust his game to be little more unpredictable with Demidov, just have to give it time the other line has 1.5+ yrs of chemistry. If PP1 starts slacking they'll split the time.

@brenmidov I believe they're working on making him a more complete player by playing him on that line and getting him to hustle and grind a bit more. 4th line is not supposed to put up 1PPG - - they had Pezzetta last year for 25 games with 0 pts. Trust the process chances will start brewing

@itsallrel4tive @MarcPDumont Matheson scored that goal last year end to end and had 60+ pts 2 seasons ago. Matheson can be that guy.

@MarcPDumont @itsallrel4tive No one seems to have caught this, look a little closer at the whole play, Evans is covering for Matheson but gets beat skating backwards - Laine and Dobson don't sync up Dobson continues to play the middle, but this is happening SO FAST. Evans doesn't get back and stops blue line

@Jak3frmStfrm @fnveenie Agreed, I'd argue it dates back to last year even... He got a little shaky a few games in over-battling but still came up big in most games.

The Cardiac Kids come through with 20 seconds left in regulation and 2 seconds left in overtime. What a thriller. Here’s the Call Of The Wilde for @Global_Montreal globalnews.ca/news/11481249/…

@TonyMarinaro @Lappy14 @BWildeMTL You're saying Laine is slow, I agree he's lacking some speed but I think something is being overlooked here, I think Evans is injured or is lacking drive. You can point it at his linemate(s) all you want but as a pro who inked a new deal not an excuse.

@TonyMarinaro @Lappy14 @BWildeMTL Exciting game guys! Great recap - one thing you guys may have missed, Evans is covering for Matheson and gets beat skating backwards in the transition and also stops skating on the backcheck. Lack of understanding between Laine and Dobson but Evans stops skating blue line in.

@DSTM1974 @EricEngels Players have roles, playing defensively to get the game to OT is not his. However he was put on for offense PP2 so he's clearly a threat out there, Gallagher is the net disturber, Laine and Demidov are the 2 that are supposed to connect. They did. It's game 4 of the season...

@mijolind @HABSETLNH 100% it wasn't a lazy play either by any means it was a hard stick check close to the hands and the refs are calling those now.

@GHGMath Not sure where Dobson supposed to be bad comes from, Hughes/Gorton don't trade/sign players for 9.5mil that are supposed to be bad lol.

@hockeystatcards @TonyMarinaro I strongly feel they're trying to get him to focus on being better without the puck and he's been alot better than last year imo. If you really want to dig in his corsi for is 11/18 on the team at -7.1 and only 5 players are above 50% + he ranks 5th in shot attempts at 9.

@hockeystatcards @TonyMarinaro I'm glad you reposted this, I'd love to see you guys chill on Laine he really hasn't been bad. His line hasn't been anything to phone home about and it takes 3 guys going, he's made very sound plays on both sides of the puck and had some opportunities.

@EricEngels @EricEngels love how since the Habs made the playoffs, showed some promise last year, all of a sudden all the keyboard critics are out thinking they know how to coach the habs. (Not you btw) The foot race caused by Dobson, at least one of them was making an effort to get back
