Puberty isn’t a disease. It’s a normal part of human development. Suppressing it is a major medical intervention - yet the puberty blockers trial is putting children as young as 11 at risk. Can an 11-year-old truly understand the risks and lifelong implications of a decision like this? The Government must stop this dangerous trial and put children’s safety first.

The elephant in the room of gender ideology is autogynephilia, when a man is sexually aroused by the idea of himself as a woman. A fetish. And it’s like, what is more likely: a bunch of middle aged men realized they’re born in the wrong body or they’re getting off to it all?

This is Marziyeh a woman from my country Iran. Look at her face. She had acid thrown on her face because her hijab was considered “inappropriate.” Two things about her story break my heart. First: for more than a decade, I have watched powerful female politicians from the West visit my country, cover their hair, and tell us they are doing it to “respect Iranian culture.” Iranian culture didn’t do this to her. Theocracy did. Compulsory hijab is not our culture. It is the culture of those who use religion to control women. Iranian women have paid with prison, lashes, their eyes, their faces, and sometimes their lives for saying NO to it. A letter to the West, Greetings, Stop confusing cowardice with tolerance. What you see as illegal immigrants is a pre-planned invasion of your country without tanks or soldiers. There are countries that have recently poured billions of pounds into Muslim Brotherhood terrorists who became activists and citizens in your countries, and their job is to defend every criminal, be the lawyer of every rapist, and make sure all those who are illegal become legal and become the next governor or MP, and later, prime minister. This is a long-term plan. They use democracy as an Uber to power then complain about the destination. Look around you. They now protest against you and your Western civilization. They call you Islamophobic if you dare to mention Muslim Brotherhood terrorists, such as Hamas terrorists, or Sudan's Muslim Brotherhood-led army, which killed over 2 million Christians and 500,000 African Muslim children and women. They will control your democracy through dictatorial rules. They discovered your greatest weakness: your tolerance can be weaponized against you. They use your freedom of speech to defend Muslim Brotherhood terrorists. They use your courts to protect Hamas and Iran's networks. They use accusations of “Islamophobia” to intimidate critics. They use democracy as a ladder to power, then attack the very values that built that ladder. Yesterday, Muslim Brotherhood ideology demanded a platform. Today, it demands political influence. Tomorrow, it will demand that you remain silent. Stop confusing cowardice with tolerance. Investigate the Muslim Brotherhood. Ban terrorist organizations. Prosecute criminal financing. Deport non-citizens who lawfully qualify for deportation because of serious crimes or terrorism and never allow extremists to turn citizenship into a weapon against the country that welcomed them. The tragedy of Jason Arday is that he was both built up and destroyed by the ruthless machinery of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion). The academy made him into the golden boy of its philistine project of ‘decolonisation’ and gave not one thought to what the consequences might be if his thin story unravelled, as it inevitably would. No one can deny it now: wokeness makes false gods and real tragedies. . . This is the poison chalice of the state religion of diversity. It lays traps for the very people it celebrates. It handpicks members of ‘the oppressed’ for moral anointment and institutional gushing while leaving them open to exposure as others start to query their credentials. That’s the toxic bargain of identity politics: it builds teetering pedestals for ethnic-minority thinkers, meaning their fall from grace is often twice as fatal. And what a pedestal they made for Arday. They worshipped him as ‘the best in the world’. They beatified him as a black wunderkind whose very presence in a place like Cambridge might help to wash away its sins of whiteness. They canonised him as a living monument to ‘decolonisation’. It was precisely this, their giddy, narcissistic desire to manufacture a kind of black saviour, that made them turn a blind eye to the questionable elements of Arday’s CV and life story. They sacrificed their due diligence to the god of decolonisation. And Arday suffered. He was both poster boy and sacrificial lamb of the diversity crusade. Even as he gained from it – reaching the dizzying heights of a Cambridge professorship – he was being damned by it. The foundation of myth and sand his starry career was built on was untenable. Its collapse was a given. It is a testament to the ideological blindness of the inhabitants of our ivory towers that none of them foresaw it. . . . The Faustian ruthlessness of it all is mindblowing. . . . The media is the only institution in this entire tragic scandal that did its job properly. Journalists found a story and they told it. It was the academy and Arday’s colleagues who failed to do their jobs. Who failed to prize merit over identity, and failed to foresee the public embarrassment that would befall their falsely promoted friend. They ignored the truth – the media found it. I and others have been arguing for years that the politics of identity is a disaster for all, black and white alike. White kids are overlooked, black kids are patronised. Whites are branded ‘privileged’, blacks ‘oppressed’. Whites are seen as the beneficiaries of historic crimes who must atone for past sins, blacks as history’s perma-victims who require the gracious helping hand of the state. We are demonised or infantilised according to the accident of our race. Enough. Let our monument to Jason Arday be the restoration of the true ideal of equality. We couldn’t save Jason but we can save merit from the monstrous jaws of identity.
