Today, the Honourable @CQualtro successfully tabled Bill #C22, which aims to create the Canada Disability Benefit. This historic bill will address the disproportionate poverty rates faced by working-age Canadians with disabilities, and enhance their financial security. #NAAW2022

This National AccessAbility Week, let’s keep creating a Canada where no one is left out, and everyone can participate. A Canada that doesn’t just accommodate disability, but one that is disability #InclusiveFromTheStart. #NAAW2022

While the media tends to portray the extreme ends of the autism spectrum, individuals with ASD have a variety of strengths and needs. It's important to provide them with personalized interventions that are based on their unique pattern of needs, rather than the diagnosis alone.
