Well, perseverance did shine through this morning after spending a lot of time in the evenings waiting on an osprey to turn up when by chance got this beauty not far from my work this morning in Fife although I didn't get to see the diving and catching of the fish! nice to see.

Update on my son's ring find it's defiantly late medieval another piece of local history found he's now famous lol in this month's metal detecting mag The Searcher ..
