I hate to agree because this sounds hella harsh. But when you really stop to think about it, just ask yourself about what this lady has said. What have the Natives contributed to the nation in the way of food, culture, what laws have they influenced for the benefit of all, what movements have they had that have brought so many people liberation and blessings. Millions of people from all over the world are touched by our culture, our music, our movements, millions in this nation benefit from the laws that came about due to our people’s suffering. As much as I hate it, we have to fight other Black Americans so that they stop caring so much about the fate of others while everyone else is being selfish and inward looking. The Natives? All of their energy collectively for the last 400 centuries has been about them and them only. OUR land, OUR sovereignty, OUR treaties, OUR, OUR, OUR!! And look, more power to them, but they as a collective have been selfish to a fault. Black Americans have been the precise opposite in damn near every way. I don’t claim to be a Native American. I can’t prove connection to any tribe. But I can through genealogy prove my entire family has been in the US since before the founding. If not a Native, I’m damn sure indigenous to the United States the nation, if for no other reason because we have been what an indigenous population should be. A life giving force for good!

But that’s just the thing. We don’t know when it was written or who by. For all we know, a person wrote this in 1999 when all of this was happening. It would be like I wrote “Donald Trump will be President” right now at this moment, but wrote a fake book or speech pretending as though it was written in 1980. It’s unverified.

I’ve not read it, but family, neither have you..for the quote you’ve given isn’t found in General Board of Education 1902-1914. It’s found in The Country School of To-Morrow by Frederick T. Gates written in 1913. And once again, this has nothing to do with the speech in this video and the fact that it’s falsely attributed to a Rockefeller.

I never said it wasn’t said family, obviously it was if someone’s reading it. But it wasn’t said by Rockefeller and that’s the claim the video made. For all we know some random person with a wild imagination who has no significance wrote it. We’re both using white institutions. Now since we’ve established that, I’m telling you no such speech from any Rockefeller was made saying what’s in this video. I’m willing to be proven wrong. Find me where Rockefeller gave this speech, which Rockefeller specifically, and since using white institutions is such a problem to you, use only non-white institutions to source this speech?
