Valuing fact and truth in a world consumed by lies is a zero sum game. You might find the answers but you'll be alone and hated for seeking them.

How often does presenting someone with a new set of facts actually change their mind? Compare this to how often rhetoric and proganda is used to sway people. Lies are more powerful than the truth. It's not a coincidence that the most powerful people are some of the best liars.

The right wing is a cult and conspiracy theorists The left wing are overly sensitive control freaks deluded into thinking everybody should play by their rules or suffer consequences. The centrists have nowhere to fit in. They just want nothing to do with either of the crazies.

Although the idea of an opportunity economy garnered on tax incentives is exciting, i can't in good faith say I'm comfortable having the same types of people that handled the Afghan pullout run our country when we're this close to a nuclear WW3.

Deep intergalactic travel probably won't ever be possible for humans.. But it will be for Ai robots that carry our collective intelligence. If they can provide that to another species somewhere out there or help them grow into intelligent life forms then we will have become gods.
