But even this feels senseless, because in the afterlife, I believe they’ll know. They’ll know it with more certainty than they ever could here. So, in the end, we are left with grief - grief no one could have prepared us for anyway, no matter how much they’d told us.

I wish someone had told me that not every change requires stepping outside of my comfort zone. Some of my most lasting transformations have come from small, intentional shifts within my comfort zone. Not every time "step out"—sometimes, just expand your comfort zone.

I wish someone had told me that “I love you” hits differently when I already love myself... that loving myself would turn those words into a reflection of what I already know, making me ask “how could you not?” instead of “oh wow, really?”
