macOS Developers should update their /etc/ssl/cert.pem file to remove the compromised eMudhra certificate.

On iPhone Duo’s Eve I just wanna say a big THANK YOU to the entire iOS developer community. Ya’ll have put your heart into the work and it’s amazing to see what everyone’s accomplished in such a short time. The energy is electric 🥹
P.S.: I've added U+2060 behind the @ of each Swift attribute so that something like @inlinable does not become a link to that unrelated person's profile.
After applying these tips, the inlining optimizations become a perfect job for agents, because they are repetitive and measurable tasks: Adding attributes to functions, then waiting for the build and the benchmark results. Adding attributes to more functions or removing some. Then waiting for the new build and the benchmark results. And so on.
This gives us developers time to do more creative work that is more fun.
Happy optimizing!
What is `@inlinable` in Swift and why can optimizing with it lead to infinite agent loops?
Making a function `@inlinable` in Swift makes its body available for optimization in other modules. This can make code faster because it allows for optimizations such as inlining or generic specialization.
Xcode 27.2b3 quietly ships a new CLI: xcrun xcodeproj
Targets, build phases, groups, build settings, xcconfigs, SPM packages: all from the terminal, for both pbxproj and the new JSON xcproj format.
Zero docs so far, but it's clearly made for agents 🤖
Friendly reminder that a new license agreement for the Apple developer program is available since yesterday. You need to explicitly accept it in your dev account or your code signing workflows will break starting on November 13.
Tip: Prioritize Apple's reminder emails titled "Updated Apple Developer Program License Agreement Now Available" coming from insideapple(dot)apple(dot)com or better all emails from apple(dot)com in case Apple starts sending from another subdomain or with another title.
I think Apples new strategy to prevent apps flooding the app store is to reject once and then just make each review cycle a month long so that the apps never make it to the AppStore.
Iv had an app stuck for around 2 months now.
@keyanzhang@sharifshameem@andhudhow Very nice. I often add "When done suggest up to ten possible next steps in a numbered list" to a prompt that allows me to follow up with something like "Do 1, 2, and 5". A similar technique that creates a continuous stream of work. Because who wants our agents to stop?
Good, I like that this is a good overview, but I guess that dark mode users would like to see dark mode templates. You can even have a dark-mode specific tagline to target an audience that usually gets served the same designs/thumbnails as light mode, e.g. astro.build/themes/ and vercel.com/templates/astro in dark mode. They probably hate that because their eyes get used to dark mode throughout the day and find white/light areas annoying. You could serve them "Dark Astro themes with style" or something like that.
I find ChatGPT still better and faster at Computer Use.
Opus also tends to ignore my instructions, including my guardrails to avoid `rm -rf` and other destructive calls.
Both Astra and Sol are also very good at grinding through work that takes multiple days to implement, e.g. performance hardening and benchmarking of large projects after a deep audit and using a detailed roadmap on disk to track the work. Opus and Fable like to stop early and interpret "strictly done" too loosely.
@kostyafarber_ Nice use of opposite diagonal patterns here. Overlaying them even creates a cross pattern. Designers often forget to use textures and patterns to differentiate visuals and only use color, shape, and shadow.
Was invited to design a custom app icon for @thingstaketime_ by @itsnotchester, so I built a cross stitch renderer that renders svg into cross stitches using webgl and 3js.
Cross stitches for the glyph, french knots for the dot and a wood embroidery hoop for the app icon rim. Zoom in to peep the details 👀
