the young guys who would’ve made great builders, mechanics, electricians etc… all got psyopped by social media that “they need to escape the matrix asap!!” so instead of pursuing these noble crafts… u got guys out here tryna be agency owners, copywriters, social media influencers instead… going completely against their own nature. would be much happier and fulfilled taking that $60k+/year salary & living a peaceful life. society would be 1000% better off with much more tradesmen & handymen… and way less phoney agency owners and copywriters providing little value to society.
@ThatGuyZak Tradies get more than 60k/year Ik guys doing 200k as electricians/plumbers and they arent even running a big company lol
@ThatGuyZak Acc a lot of the influencers ppl follow say this and encourage trades. Justin Waller is one that comes to mind. Friend of mine acc dropped out and is abt to become an HVAC engineer.
@ThatGuyZak Say what you want, the job I’m currently working to build (Social Media) is the most purpose filled thing I’ve ever done. Wouldn’t let some random tell me what to do, I’ll do what I feel is right and go at it without remorse. Work towards your dreams people!
60k a year is chunk change. You can make that waiting tables and driving Uber in my state. If you ever wanna own anything, you’re gonna wanna at least double that. I’m not against trades, but if I was looking at making 60k a year forever in a land where the dollar is worth less and less every year, I’d become a fucking agency owner too.
@ThatGuyZak The real escape is self-reliance.
@ThatGuyZak In America, men are white collar or blue collar. So this will naturally sort itself out.
@ThatGuyZak Finding your nature and not fighting it is paramount. Many people try to be something they are not because they’ve fallen victim to external influence
