@WorldBollard 30k? Yeah, ok. The quarter panel and doors can be repaired, maybe easier to get a door skin for the rear door, hard to tell from here. A new door handle (handlebar, sorry lol) and paint the left side. Simple.
@buzzyngabe @WorldBollard She listed axel and said the wheel was damaged, can imagine that's where a good part of the money is going
@BerlinEnglander @buzzyngabe @WorldBollard A new CV axle plus labor is a couple hundred bucks. That can't be more than like a two grand for a wheel, tire, and axle assuming you're going somewhere reasonable.
@The9thCloudOwO @buzzyngabe @WorldBollard Really, never had to change one. I assumed it would be more, plus a fairly complex replacement, so man hours would also be higher. Then she probably went to the manufacturer's shop... Always more expensive.
@BerlinEnglander @buzzyngabe @WorldBollard Oh yeah, going to the dealership to get work done is a total scam, but the axle itself probably isn't more than ~$250. I'd bet the body work is what makes up the cost, door panels, knocking out the dents and getting the body lines straight, etc etc. A wrap alone is ~5k though.
@The9thCloudOwO @BerlinEnglander @WorldBollard Yeah, it's really hard to tell from the video, the body work isn't bad at all. It'd be under 5K in our shop (from what I can see). I swear it doesn't look like a wrap, just a factory paint job. I'm probably overlooking something obvious, she did say wrap though.
