The Capacity Project @TheCapacityProj

One of the simplest ways to save both water and energy is to install water–efficient devices such as those labeled as WaterSense products.

Use the washing machine and dishwasher for full loads to save water and energy. Earn rewards for saving energy at buff.ly/1d0WclW

Letting your faucet run for 5 minutes uses as much energy as leaving a 60-watt light bulb on for 14 hours

Energy relates to water conservation since it is required to pump, heat & treat water, and operate water-using machines at home and at work

Happy Water Conservation Month! This month we will be showcasing water conservation. How do you pledge to be water-efficient in 2014?

Remove clothing from dryer promptly to avoid ironing - a real energy and time consumer.

Washing full loads in cold water saves the most energy. Modern soaps are designed to work in cold water.

Although, dishwashers uses only half the energy, one-sixth of the water, and less soap too, try to avoid half-loads and heated dry cycles

Reduce wasted (vampire) power by plugging electronics into a smart power strip, which can turn your electronics off completely.

Consider turning down the thermostat a few degrees when you have guests. Extra bodies in your home mean extra warmth at no cost to you!
