We do not have to babysit #ai agents. But if you work with multiple teams in a complex codebase: you do have to atleast take a superficial look over the modified files to make sure it did not overreach!

@IsaacKing314 The hope is that everything will just lead to another abstraction layer in our profession.

All the experiments I've run and all the code I've written with AI over the past few months would have taken me years to do by hand. So, if nothing else, #ai has given me time.

I mean...we have to agree that almost all components that we wired in an application in the past, that took a lot of time and testing, from authentication to payments, now have become boilerplate #code for every #ai. That's amazing! Now we just focus of business specifics!

I'm using #Ai agents more and more, they slowly gane my trust; but there is something In my gut saying: hey buddy, you're getting too relaxed about this, that's dangerous!

@LuizaJarovsky Even if it's good: 1. No - there are enough brilliant books I haven't read 2. Yes - while I'm doing something else. 3. No - there are enough brilliant people I haven’t listened to.

There is something fishy about all this #Ai companies, their whole power lies in the models that they build and charge money for. But in the future, we will have competing open-source alternatives, maybe even amazing models that run locally. What gives?
