About the new #unity fee: We have to start thinking about going full open source! It's democratic and beyond the reach of corporate greed! We use #unity and #GameMaker due to library and content available but we forget how much of our own interests we are putting below theirs.

Devlog #000 - Began to adapt the object based GML code to a more modular approach with scripts; - Kept most of the parenting logic either way; - Reduced the inside object lines of code in almost 1000 lines also reducing more 150 total lines of code;

Current State of the game: - Added new sprites for enemies, player and weapons; - Still a lot to balance in terms of animations, sprites and gameplay cadence; - Enemies are harder to beat; #indiegame #devlog #gamedev

On the last few weeks the different and better presentation the visual effects gave the game made me realize that to improve gameplay and conceptual work further I would have to give te game an actual look, so I've been working on some sprites ans animations for the game.
