@DanPatrick Perhaps you could listen to our pleas about the abolition of property taxes? In my county we could replace ESDs for a 0.05% sales tax. County taxes for 2.033%. ALL property taxes for 7.163% without cutting a dime of spending or dipping into state budget surplus.

@DanCumberl1727 @WallStreetApes You should reread the study. It concluded the opposite. Specifically, drivers going 5-15 mph above the ag speed of traffic were least likely to be involved in a fatality. The avg speed of traffic is 5-15 mph above the speed limit because limits were set at the 65th percentile.

@unusual_whales So sales/use taxes aren’t as regressive as opponents say? Sounds like a good case for abolishing income and property taxes in favor of tariffs & sales/use taxes.
