Which kid do you think royally messed up the Christmas play today?
Annoying parent: “We need a children’s Cmas play!” Same parent: “We can’t make practice. Can my son read his lines instead of memorize them?”
“Aw my five year old knows the choir special! Wouldn’t it be adorable for them to sing with the choir today?”
Me:”Children, make sure you are working on memorizing your lines for the Christmas play” Child: “Wait, we have to memorize them?”
@BumblingEXPW Yes. For 21 years now. But I have always been able to help others too. And that to me is worth this pain I have gone through. Paul had a thorn in his flesh. I consider this mine. It’s been extremely hard. But now I am at that point where I see God’s hand.
Which teen is most annoying?: 1) the teen who constantly sings ALL THE TIME to let everyone know they can. 2) The teen who knows it all and will tell you. 3) The middle schooler who has no filter
Some days reading social media, I get why God went with a flood.
Pastor: Youth, are you coming to the activity we are having tomorrow? Youth: I don’t know yet. Have to see what else is going on that might be more fun.
When someone is rude and then tells you it’s because they have the gift of prophecy:
Reasons people come to church: 1. No kid’s sports activities today. 2. No company coming over. 3. Lawn is mowed and garden trimmed. 4. Can’t afford to go to beach, lake, golf, etc this week. 5. My kids are bored 6. Weather is nice but not TOO nice (see #3-4).
Pastor: Hey, youth, will you be at the function coming up at church? Need a head count. Youth: IDK. Any other non church event comes up... you going? Youth: I’m there.
Hey, Pastor, could you come up to church on your only real day off and meet me so I can donate a bunch of unusuable junk to the church?

Youth asks for more activities then says he can’t come because of an illness. And then Snapchat reveals he is at the beach.
