Friends! I'm working on a new project and would like to know about life lessons you have learned from your dogs! Did they teach you to always enjoy naps? To forgive? To eat food off the ground? Please share your stories! Voods taught me so much that I cannot fit it in 1 post
@TheGoldenRatio4 Is there a way for people who aren't on Twitter to share stories? Or who don't want to share them publicly?
@TheGoldenRatio4 @dogfather Hm. I feel like I have some some stories, Jen.
@TheGoldenRatio4 Dexter (left) taught me the absolute joy of having a dog and the utter heartbreak of saying goodbye. Harley (right) taught me that broken hearts are resilient and can find new happiness. Both helped me get out of my own head and recognize the wisdom of just sitting in the sun.
@TheGoldenRatio4 Voods didn’t sit around worrying when his next seizure was. He embraced every opportunity for adventure (& mischief!!) Voods taught me you can have serious health issues but live a full adventurous life!! Be an adventurous eater 😂 Self care is important spa or otherwise (1)
@TheGoldenRatio4 My Buzzy a golden, who was trained as a service dog, taught me many things. He saved my life literally and figuratively. When I got him I was in severe depression. He taught me love, patience, and the value of living. He saved my life and I miss him every minute of every day.
@TheGoldenRatio4 Always take a friend (accomplice) with you on an adventure.
@TheGoldenRatio4 That you can have a lot of quality interaction and create plenty of memories without a word being spoken
@TheGoldenRatio4 These two teach me "Eat. Play. Love" .... always. Irrespective of a how things are around us.
