Don’t forget to check those lung bases! CT A/P done in ER for fever, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. ED was alerted to lung findings that have been described with COVID and patient was subsequently found to be COVID+.

The tools to access the heart via a minimally invasive approach did not exist when I 1st developed the #MiamiMethod. A collaboration w/ an engineer patient yielded Miami Instruments where I developed several minimally invasive #cardiacsurgery tools, now on display at #STS2020 .
