I made a decision to quit my Developer job in THIS market as a JUNIOR developer. I was excelling at the role and getting praise from my team about my improvement. But the Project Manager was a cruel, abusive, irresponsible, and overall a bad leader. Respect yourself first... ♥️

Are you familiar with Data Analytics/Reporting tools like GoodData, LookerStudio, Power BI, etc.? I'm needing to create a system where users can create data visualisation widgets with filtering but keeping the interface simple. So no embedded self-service analytics unfortunately

Day 9 of #100DaysOfCode. Days have been intermittent due to illness but I'm still trucking through! I've started an FPS project with the hopes of building a looter-shooter/base building game. Today I got sprinting working and added a crosshair!

Day 8 of #100daysofcode I learned how to delete empty folders (prevented due to references that weren't removed), create a heal box, I fixed my text on the hat so it follows the hat , and I refactored my blueprints to have a better naming convention. Lots of debugging goodness!

Day 7 of #100DaysOfCode, I hope everyone is enjoying their holidays! I've spent part of today learning about hard vs soft references and using interfaces to ensure I am not reserving memory when they are not needed in Unreal Engine 5. A nice bonus to my current learning! 🎅 🎁

Day 6 of #100DaysOfCode Fixed the hat spawning thing I introduced yesterday. Added health, health bar widget, and damage portal thing. Following along with the tutorial and experimenting along the way! Time spent experimenting vs watching video is about 50/50.

Day 4 of #100DaysOfCode donzo. I now have a door opening and closing thanks to @smart_poly! The tutorials have been amazing. Its thorough and packed full of information so I feel comfortable jumping around and experimenting. The software is still daunting but approachable now 😁

Day 3 of #100DaysOfCode in the 📖! Learned more about how to use variables in blueprints + building basic blueprints to open doors and the like. Very intuitive system that is fun to play around with. And you feel like a genius! Can't wait until tomorrow. I also practiced 🎸!

Day 2 #100DaysOfCode. I'm doing a Blueprints tutorial in unreal engine 5 while enjoying some samosas! Taking things slow by getting used to the interface and basics while learning is helping not get overwhelmed which has been a huge blocker for me and games in the past. 🔥😁🤠

To those with less than ideal leaders/commentators, just know that you're doing great and the effort you're putting into a skill or yourself is worth it and it'll pay off. If other people are telling you otherwise or saying things that put you down they're the problem. Period. ✌️

I saw one of the most recent @fireship_dev videos and it talked about groupBy(). Super cool because I needed to use it at work and was thinking about ways of solving it and Kabam! Fire ship saves the day. Then I watched some @Hyperplexed to fall asleep.
