I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Today I'm at the school making last minute updates and ensuring we are ready! I'm also booking a hotel night for early October for our family when I know we will need a mini break together.

As leaders, we make 100's of decisions a day. We use a variety of lenses & experiences to shape our schools and experiences for our Ss and staff. The forefront of our decisions good intentions, + expectations, emphasis on equity and to reduce harm. Does he do the same?

The 'Learning Zone' is the goal! It is a process to ensure Ss & staff feel comfortable, take risks, and ensure the learning environment is inclusive. It is OUR job to make the stars align to get to this zone quickly, and safely!

This was a great discussion with staff this week. Some say I'm too soft. My response was we need to take the time to make connections. This investment in our Ss will pay off! We need to slow down the Curriculum only narrative and include well-being & the power of + relationships!
