2,200 Terror Arrests Mark 18 Month White House Counterterrorism Record! Gorka attributed the results to an America First approach and a policy of peace through strength. Dr. Sebastian Gorka appeared on Just the News with John Solomon and offered an update on counterterrorism results over the previous eighteen months. He credited President Trump with restoring the rules of engagement from the first Trump administration and returning the United States to active counterterrorism operations. Gorka said American forces had permanently removed 1,081 jihadis from the battlefield worldwide, individuals who had killed Americans or were plotting to kill Americans. He also highlighted the liberation of 110 American hostages in a year and a half, a figure he described as unprecedented for that span of time. Gorka noted that the threat remains in the crosshairs, that Americans are being brought home, and that jihadis are being taken off the battlefield. He attributed the results to an America First approach and a policy of peace through strength, adding that people on the front lines now feel a clearer sense of mission than they did during the Biden years. He further cited a Homeland Security figure of approximately 2,200 people with terrorism ties arrested on U.S. soil in the past year.
