the main reason people are so weird about glp1s is because they think fat people are cheating by using them, because they think fat people deserve to be punished.

guys i don’t care if USPS lost your package once or whatever. if we lose USPS it will impact so. many. people. negatively. it’s the ONLY program we have required to deliver to EVERY address.

A coworker left a job she loved because her commute was three hours round trip. She asked about remote work twice. Both times she was told leadership valued in person collaboration. Six months after she left they went fully remote. She found out on LinkedIn.

“everybody fucking hates me” was ingrained in me at 8 years old so now to this day no matter how close someone is to me i will always wonder if they actually like being my friend

the phrase "lipstick on a pig" has always inspired a deep sadness in me. I think of the pig, looking forward to her big night out, and I bring myself to the verge of tears.

The more you learn about child abuse, the more you begin to realize that unconditional love is expected from children toward their parents, not the other way around. And it was never the other way around.

People don’t ever want to talk about the ugly sides of weight loss.. realizing people treated you bad because you were overweight, you now have to buy an entire new wardrobe, you now have loose skin, and you’re still going to see yourself as big. It’s not glamorous.

The harsh truth is people will treat you better after you lose weight.

Respectfully, if you've never seen 230+ Ibs on the scale, made funny your personality to hide your shame, not been able to wrap a towel around you, cried on the floor of a dressing room, & secretly eaten in your car alone.. I don’t want your weight loss advice.

the funniest part of replacing receptionists with AI will be realizing nobody actually documented half the things jessica the front desk person just magically handled every day.
