Affirmation: As I heal myself, I see that I never needed fixing. I accept the parts of myself that are angry, scared, or hurt. I know I'm reparenting myself and making better choices each day. I love the person I'm becoming.
@Theholisticpsyc What do you mean by "fixing"? If you mean that our problems aren't damnable and final, 100% agree. But we all need adjusted. Can all be selfish, insensitive...we don't always do right. That's human. That's what Christ died for.
@Theholisticpsyc I just had a flash when I read this. Parenting little ones takes years, many years, until they become teenagers then adult. Reparenting oneself must take years too. And we get to be as patient with oneself as with the little ones :) and marveled too.
@Theholisticpsyc Would this work for an autistic nearly 50 Yr old or is it too late? My family is so dysfunctional I fear the damage is irreparable 😔
@Theholisticpsyc I have to heal from other's people garbage. And learn how to dispose it properly. Recycle feelings!
@Theholisticpsyc I don’t need fixing: what I need is self-acceptance. If I accept myself, I heal myself. Of course, it is a journey, but every epic odyssey starts with the first definitive and glorious step into bravery.
