£49.18 is the standard weekly allowance for asylum seekers. It's reduced to £9.95 if meals are included with accommodation. You need a national insurance number to claim benefits or work. Asylum seekers do not have one. No free phone (or Ipads). Occasionally, sims, or recycled…

i don’t know how this benefits change will affect me. there’s no solid details. what happens if you have a pip award of 10 years? but with the new 4 point thing, i won’t qualify for it anymore. what happens if you already get pip for mental health/ autism?will it go now?
