#queensu is lowering its flags to half-mast in memory of the thousands of children who were sent to residential schools, for those who never returned, and in honour of the families whose lives were forever changed.
Beginning Monday, May 31, the PDSB will lower flags at all buildings as a sign of collective mourning for the 215 children whose remains were found at the site of a former residential school in Kamloops, BC.
