So last working day done. So many emotions: Love and gratitude to the many amazing colleagues I’ve had the privilege to work with; a little bit of loss at leaving something I feel so passionate about; joy at the send off I was given and finally excitement at what is still to come

This is my son, Benedict. He died yesterday, suddenly, aged 5. I just want everyone to know that he existed, and to see his beautiful smile and know how wonderful he was. He was such a bright spark, the kindest boy. His time with us was the greatest gift 💔
It's not popular to talk about perspectives and complexity. It's much more alluring to be outraged, appalled and raging. But the reality is that life is complex and messy and viewed from many angles... it might not be click-worthy but it is a better representation of the world.

Trauma informed practice is relational, & contextual. It is multi layered & dynamic- it needs to be infused, meaningful, & embedded- it is not a tick box, a cookbook, or a one off training, a screening tool, a fruit bowl & more.
