Protests were held in several Syrian provinces on Friday to condemn Israeli occupation incursions and attacks on Syrian territory, including shelling and the detention of Syrians in Quneitra and Daraa.
Enough is enough
I have thought both Israelis and Syrians want peace, not as governments, but as people
But to see many Israelis on here defending targeting a disabled man, in a completely non-hostile area
You people are insane, not just your government
Protests are taking place across Syria in solidarity with the people of southern Syria, who are facing harassment and arrests by Israeli forces amid Israel’s illegal occupation and incursions inside Syrian territory.

During a demonstration in Idlib today, northwestern Syria, protesters chanted: “Zionist, just wait, Syria will become your grave.”
In another demonstration in Homs, central Syria, protesters chanted: “Khaybar, Khaybar, O Jews, the army of Muhammad will return.”

“I am not afraid of anyone except Allah. I demand my right. I demand my child’s education. My child must receive an education too.”
Popular anger and mass protests across Syria in solidarity with southern Syria,
following repeated Israeli army assaults on Syrian villages in Daraa and Quneitra, and the killing of a Syrian civilian with Down syndrome yesterday in a village in Daraa.

Israeli Forces Kill Disabled Syrian Man
Israeli occupation forces killed Muaz Salama, a Syrian man with special needs, during a military incursion last night in the village of Jamla in the Daraa countryside.
Israeli forces abducted his body and later returned to Syrian civil defence personnel.
A young girl waits in a food line in Gaza, visibly struggling in the mass of people as she holds an empty pot. Amid catastrophic levels of hunger and malnutrition, exacerbated by Israeli restrictions on aid and funding cuts by international organisations, most people in Gaza rely on charity kitchens for their daily meals.
Since the beginning of October, the distribution of daily hot meals and monthly food parcels to families has declined significantly due to funding shortfalls, with the UN World Food Programme’s cuts leaving around 500,000 people without monthly food assistance. About 1.4 million people — two-thirds of Gaza’s population — face crisis-level food insecurity or worse, while the WFP says it urgently needs $450 million over the next six months to sustain critical operations in Gaza and the occupied West Bank ahead of a fourth winter as Israel continues its genocide of the Palestinian people
A student bringing a substance into a classroom is a wake-up call we can’t afford to ignore.
It exposes a alarming gap in our system: schools still lack standard prevention policies, and key bodies like the NDCC, NDA Board, and Ministry of Education, Min of Homeland are falling short on their mandates under the Drugs Act (17/2011).
Our children deserve safe learning environments. I urge authorities to take full responsibility and establish real, proactive protocols like early interventions to protect students from Substance use disorder. @min_mohst@AhmedSiddeeq@MMuizzu@WHOMaldives@UNMaldives@NDA_MV
The world should know the name Abdul Baset al-Sarout.
A football player born in Homs, Syria, in 1992, who left his entire life behind to join the Syrian revolution against the Assad regime- at its very beginning in March 2011.
Sarout was a talented goalkeeper, once ranked second best in Asia, with a promising professional career ahead of him. He traded it all for the struggle.
He played a prominent role in the demonstrations through his presence, his organisation, and by leading chants and songs that stirred the hearts of millions. Known as the 'Nightingale of the Revolution', his voice became the soundtrack of the uprising. Yet despite his fame, those who knew him recall his deep humility, a talent that never sought the spotlight, and a faith that anchored him. They speak of his fear of God, his gentleness, his unwavering trust in Him, and how he repeatedly called for unity in the revolution.
When the dictatorial Assad regime and its allies (Russia, shia militias, and Iran) began murdering protesters, bombing cities, and besieging towns, Sarout fought on the front lines to defend his people, his religion, his land, and his honour.
He battled against both East and West, alongside his people, to free Syria from the tyrannical regime and from every faction that sought a piece of their homeland.
Sarout's father, four brothers, uncles, and countless friends were murdered. He buried many of them with his own hands. He was wounded multiple times, endured famine and grief, yet he kept going. Kept chanting for freedom. Kept lifting his people up to persevere.
Sarout gave everything he had to free his people and his country, including his own life.
On June 8, 2019, he passed away at the age of 27, from severe wounds sustained two days earlier while fighting Assad regime and Russian forces on the front lines in northern Hama.
We ask God to accept him and his loved ones among the martyrs.
Sarout is not just a legend in Syria, but across the entire region. And he deserves to be known across the world.
الله يرحم روحك الطاهرة يا حبيبنا ساروت، ويتقبلك من الشهداء. طلبتَ الشهادة وبإذن الله نلتَها. ستبقى دوماً رمزاً للبطولة والحرية.
