@DelindaSpinetti The hopeful sees success where others see failure, and sunshine where others see shadow & storm...
Typical retirement resort villages will have a wide range of amenities, activities & services to cater for the social, physical & health needs
Objective of retirement villages is to create a secure environment where its residents can socialise with others of their age & interest..
'Ageing-in-place' developments typically comprise a retirement village with independent living units & aged care facilities....
There's a need in Malaysia to move away from the stigma of traditional old folks homes which elderly perceive as 'going to a place to die'..
Moving the elderly to nursing homes is often emotionally very traumatic exacerbated by the sub-standard quality of care & living conditions.
Statistically,an average Malaysian is likely to need 9 years of nursing care.Current age care facilities in Malaysia are at best inadequate.
Body antioxidants donate electrons to free-radicals w/o becoming free-radical themselves, breaking the process of electron theft & oxidation.
Continuous free-radical damage will cause cells to die & over time lead to organ dysfunction. All organs in the body are susceptible....
Free-radicals oxidize anything in its way-punching holes through cell membranes, destroying key enzymes, cellular components & fracturing DNA.
Newly-created free-radicals will start a process of electron theft from unsuspecting molecules causing structural damage to healthy cells...
Free-radicals will break up stable molecules & steal an electron to stabilize itself & in the process create new unpaired free-radicals....
Unpaired electrons hate to be alone so they will go all out to find a partner & will destroy anything to get what they want at all cost...
Free-radicals are generated by your body's own metabolism & stress plus pollution,alcohol,chemicals,high-fat diets,ultraviolet radiation,etc
Free-radicals inflict damage on your cells. What is a free-radical?It is an atom or molecule that has an un-paired electron...
Assistive technologies are devices & systems that assist the elderly with vision, hearing, communication impairments, dexterity & mobility, etc.
Telecare devices include safety phones,food/water alarms,sensors for non-movement,bed/chair occupancy,falls,auto lightings,temperature,etc..
Telecare facilities are devices that offer continuous, automatic & remote monitoring of real-time emergencies & lifestyle changes over time..
