Just a reminder that JK Rowling is a fiction writer. She’s not a psychologist, psychiatrist, therapist, healthcare professional or a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Her opinions on trans & LGB people are irrelevant & should be regarded as the sensationalist nonsense that they are

@ThomasWillett9 I don't know her, but she strikes me as being a very common sense, down to earth lady with a great mind.
@ThomasWillett9 "She’s not a psychologist, psychiatrist, therapist, healthcare professional or a member of the LGBTQ+ community" nobody needs to be, to understand that India was born a male and is now dressing up as a woman.
@ThomasWillett9 By that same logic, she is undeniably a woman and has full license to gatekeep who gets to join that club.
@ThomasWillett9 She's also a woman. She knows what a woman is. Her view is valid because it is based in science and history. You can disagree, that is your right (at least in the US where we have freedom of speech/thought) but it doesn't make her view less valid.
@ThomasWillett9 DNA testing will clear up any confusion people may have.
@ThomasWillett9 There's nothing "sensationalist" about saying men cannot become women. It's the most mundane basic fact of reality.
@ThomasWillett9 Doesn’t take a genius to know she is right.
@ThomasWillett9 Pretty obvious the difference between men and women, even children can figure it out
@ThomasWillett9 And she's a woman. So there's that 🤪
@ThomasWillett9 India is also a fiction writer ... but she writes her own story
