Preparing children for the future means increasingly letting them get used to the weight of responsibility by not protecting them.
@TimElmore #Agreed but there is a proper way to prepare children and young people. I have a big issue with parents and grandparents being dropped by the churches and especially Mega churches in the country. It smells of $$$$ if you are pass the Millennial age. Mike E Metro D
@TimElmore Life is messy and meant to be fully experienced. Kids become more resilient by experiencing the weight of responsibility and moving on to the next day in the face of failure, which is also a part of life.
@TimElmore If only more schools understood this concept. Unfortunately, this does not seem to be the case in many instances. When adults are working harder than the students to “fix” the students grades or behavior there is a problem.
