Let’s remember our service members who are no longer with us understanding that their sacrifices were for us and our great country. We should be grateful and spend more time working on things that unite us and resisting the temptation to engage in activities that divide us.

Steph Curry’s performance today was out of this world! He’s an all-time great who always shines bright when the odds are against him. Was told he was too small and not good enough. No one saying that now. Now the talk is about him being one of the best ever, which he is!

Thanks KCSD family and community for allowing me to work with the best teachers, students, families and community supporters anywhere. You all developed me into the person I am today. I love you all.

Am I the only one who thinks the NBA should give G-League players 10 Day contracts instead of retired players? The retired players had their opportunity. Let the young players prove themselves and fulfill their dream of making the league.

I’m sad to read Scottie Pippen’s comments about Michael Jordan. In the documentary MJ said Scottie was selfish for not playing. He never said Scottie was bad for the game. Now Scottie is on a mission to destroy MJ’s reputation as a great player. Not cool nor true Scottie!

I am sad to learn of the passing of General Colin Powell. His service to the country was admirable and distinguished. He made us all proud and showed that great leadership rises to the occasion and exists within our ranks. His service raised the bar on diplomacy and service.

Today is a day for remembering those who lost their lives in the terrible attack on our country 20 years ago. Our new enemies are those who encourage divisive dialogue on issues. Let’s pledge today our commitment to show the world that we are still The United States of America!

The USA Men’s Olympic Basketball Team is playing too slow. Make the rest of the world play American basketball. Push the ball up and down the floor and force them to run with us. They will not be able to do it and will get in foul trouble. In return we will get easy baskets.

Willie Mays was my favorite baseball player when I was a kid. I read every book about him and recognized his teams (Giants and Mets) as two of my favorites. He was the “Lebron James” of my youth. Always a unifier and never a divider. Happy Birthday to a true American legend.

Happy 90th birthday to Willie Mays! If it wasn't for folks like Willie and Jackie Robinson, I might never have made it to the White House. The spirit he played with and the way he carried himself changed the game and people’s attitudes. I’m glad he’s still going strong.

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! A day that unites all American sports lovers. Great opening ceremony with America the Beautiful, The Star Spangled Banner, and a beautiful flyover by the United States Air Force. Proud to be an American 🇺🇸.

I’m glad you have made this next large step to a return to normal. Let’s lean on each other for strength and wisdom as we go through this together.

I’m sad today to learn of the passing of Coach John Thompson. He was one of the greatest basketball coaches of all time and an inspiration to me in the way he inspired his teams to compete both on and off the court. His contributions to the game will live on.

As we celebrate our nation’s 244th birthday, let’s resolve to unite as a nation and work to overcome our obstacles. I believe our best days as a nation are still ahead of us. I pray for unity and positive energy going forward.

The resolve of the American spirit to overcome adversity has been exhibited many times in our history. Keep the faith, stay true to who we are, and continue to persevere through this covid19 challenge. We are “the home of the brave”.

Thanks Coach Kelsey, staff and players for another exciting win and for returning to the NCAA basketball tournament again. I’m proud to be an Eagle and look forward to the seeding and our next “victim” opponent😃. Go Eagles Go!
