WARNING - @thetrainline + @Trenitalia Took 10 months to refund a €300 train booking which was cancelled…Trainline washed their hands of it (though I paid them the money) Trenitalia emails were all from no reply@Trenitalia. I had to sit and wait 😡Clueless service.

This #WorldCancerDay is particularly important. 47,000 people who have not received their diagnosis and 24,000 who started treatment with delays. I was fortunate to be diagnosed at an early stage, thousands and thousands of people won't get that chance. Dreadfully sad.

Our Son Adam appeared on itv tonight ‘ when can I see my GP last week. Couldn't get a GP appointment and fobbed off by 111. Diagnosed with a malignant grade 4 GBM in November. We'll never know how different things may have been. Bitter is an understatement.

We don't hear much in parts of the media these days about the tens of thousands of people who have missed their cancer diagnosis... I was fortunate to receive my cancer diagnosis relatively early. Thousands and thousands of people won't get that chance.
