The babies wouldn't hurt a fly! Literally. They can't hurt ANYTHING for three days until they gestate and grow their exoskeletons. Then they mature into young adult spiderants, which is super awesome! :D

Babies never killed anyone! Babies are tiny and harmless, they'll be fiiiine. If ANYTHING, the mother is the thing to be afraid of because it's first act will be to hunt a food supply for it's young, but the odds of that being you on the whole ship are VERY slim! c:
