@faisalislam If the object of interest rates rises is to reduce people’s ability to spend, then surely a fairer way to reduce spending is to increase income tax? We all get hit rather than a small percentage of the population who have to remortgage getting massively hit.

@alittl Read your piece on the BBC website about Ukraine. Really insightful, a really good read. I never knew about the luck in avoiding a nuclear war in ‘62. Let’s hope for the same luck this time round. 🤞NATO leaders don’t become gung-ho. So far they are doing the right thing.

@Arsenal I left a message on the stadium management answerphone yesterday concerning 2 incidents at Saturdays match one of which was witnessing an assault inside the ground. Could someone dm me or ring me back.

@PrincessCruises Does anyone actually answer the 03443388663 U.K. phone number? Have been waiting 20 minutes for someone to pick up and this is the third attempt at trying to talk to a person.

@BBCSimonJack If CO2 shortage is primarily caused by the shutdown of two fertiliser plants that are currently uneconomic to run with a high gas price surely this is where the govt should step in and order them to resume operations and cover the cost until the gas price drops?

@FrankRGardner I don’t normally tweet authors after reading their books but have just finished your first two books and about to start Outbreak. Absolutely brilliant. You write in a very Freddy Forsyth style and I’ve read all his books. Keep churning the books out please!

@SF_England I managed a workaround by switching the WiFi off on my iPhone and using 4G. Once I did that the link worked fine. Maybe worth you guys putting a message up on twitter about this issue with access via virgin media.

@SF_England The link on the email sent for me as a parent to update my tax information doesn’t work. Just gets a constantly circling cursor waiting to connect. Is this a general issue?

@SF_England Virgin media. I have no issues with my broadband with anything else. I have a 320mbs download speed and can stream and access any other sites. I work from home accessing other government sites fine.

@SF_England That just gives a circling cursor and eventual “this web page is not available try again” message. Is this just too many people trying to login or is there an actual problem?

@adamcroft @AVL8ton Have you tried completely powering the tv off for at least 30 secs (not just into standby) and then checking? That sometimes forces the LG content to refresh.

@adamcroft @AVL8ton I am using it on my tv. It’s definitely in the content store. I’m assuming you have done a search in the content store for BritBox? If it’s not showing, is your tv’s software up to date and do you have a hard wired wi fi connection into your tv?

@BritBoxHelpUK I’ve installed the new app for LG smart tv’s. Working fine but can’t see any way to go to the next episode in a Dr Who series. Always starts at the first episode in any storyline?

@AVL8ton I know. They have been useless. It worked fine when BritBox first launched then stopped working in February. I was so bored on lockdown I tried again last week and discovered it was ok again. But as I say my tv had a software update very recently. So frustrating!
