DJ Tip: New DJs, PLEASE don't accept any gigs until your beat-matching / transitions are smooth + seamless. The crowd will appreciate it.
DJ Tip: Spend the $ and get professional photos done. Being a great DJ isn't enough these days. You need to be marketable.
RIP DJ EZ Rock. You made an impact on Hip Hop which will never be forgotten.
DJ Tip: Always have spare cables, code CDs, or needles etc. + pack a USB or mix CD to carry u through in case the something goes wrong.

DJ Tip: OK. It's a party. But if you get so drunk that you can not play, you're not taking your job seriously.
DJ Tip: just because you're a "producer" doesn't mean u should play your own work in your sets. Only play them if it's appropriate.
DJ Tip: Always have enough music with u so that u can change the vibe if the Promoter/Manager/Venue owner asks u to.
DJ Tip: If u are booked to play the Happy Hour set in a quiet bar, don't play the same songs u would play at 2am in a packed nightclub.
