We all have real life to deal with at times (as annoying as that may be).Don't be afraid to take a break if you must,people will understand!
We're all just here to have some fun,to escape reality for a while, to bring life to our stories and fire the imagination.Never forget that
Think about your character's backstory, and if you're character doesn't have one try to work one out. What made them who they are?

If you get want to, it's perfectly fine to DM someone to plan an RP in advance!
