The Blue Devil Motorsports team has drivers practicing in the THS Esports lab. Our potential drivers are learning about racing lines & car performance from Mr. Robertson. Simulators help prepare for racing the EV kart (that they’re building) at the @evGrandPrix this spring.

I personally don’t believe that 1st Person Shooter video games lead to violence. That being said, there is NO WAY I would try to encourage ANY FPS game in a public school esports program right now. That’s why @TiptonESPORTS only plays Smash Bros, Rocket League, and racing.

After last night’s invitational, unfortunately THS did not accumulate enough team points to play for the team championship. HOWEVER, we DO have 3 players who qualify for the top 16 who will play for the individual championship at Kokomo HS! Jacob H Clay B Maxwell V

We are at the 2nd CIEC Smash Bros Invitational. Jacob Hickman qualified again and is starting his 1st match. JR. Clay Burton also qualified and will play his 1st match soon. It is double elimination.

Clay Burton and Jacob Hickman both win their 1st round pairing. Today is a qualifier, and all participants play 4 games. Top 8 after the qualifier will advance to the invitational in 2 weeks.

We’re here at Taylor High School and boy did they set up BIG for our 5 school meet today. 5 match stations on stage, plus a couple of gaming stations for fans/observers to get a taste of the action. Looking forward to a good meet today!

As of right now, we are in 2nd place in our Super Smash Brothers conference. We have a match at Taylor this Thursday at Taylor where all schools will be in attendance. Looking to take the #1 spot, or at least hold 2nd for a spot in the championship.

After a loss in Rd 2, Jacob fought back to be in lower bracket finals. If he wins this rd. He’ll play in grand finals. Would need to win TWICE in grand to take home the invitational win.

While everyone is on Spring Break, Jacob H is competing in the Top 8 double elim Super Smash Bros tournament at Western High School. He qualified last week by finishing in the Top 8 of the Kokomo qualifier. Good Luck Jacob!!

THS esports students participating in a 4 school Super Smash Bros Ultimate tournament. It’s great to see some of our freshman get their 1st taste of competition, and our upper class men being leaders.
