Former college basketball player Bayron Matos, who has never played in a football game, has a pre-draft visit today with the #Bengals. Eleven other teams have sent OL coaches to work out Matos, who stands 6-7, 313 with 35 1/4-inch arms. A potential sleeper.
Born in the Dominican Republic, Matos is part of the NFL's International Player Pathway Program.
@TomPelissero Seriously? What are these teams thinking? Basketball skills don't guarantee success on the football field!
@TomPelissero This is why NFL needs a farm system. Odds of him making it are astronomical. There is insufficient practice time for NFL to develop great athletes. You basically have offseason (no pads) and camp. Reps in camp are limited. In season practices are glorified walk throughs.
@TomPelissero @wufosports Kick/punt/extra point blocking machine hands up big boy!!!!!!
@TomPelissero Perfect for Stoutland University.
