@2147mill I’d say focusing on maximising income streams at this age (high income job + side hustle(s)) and investing into low risk, compounding ETFs has greater potential for long term financial gain than investing an average income into high risk shares

I cannot stress how damaging it is to mental health to stay at home. Do something, anything, but get out of the houses. Weekends in particular are for doing stuff, going places. Staying home tires you out and makes you anxious. Climb a mountain or jump in a lake, anything.

is this genuinely the explanation for decline of everything - friendships, excitement, spontaneity, dating?

My mate back in England married his first ever girlfriend. They met at school. Never left our hometown. He still works at British Gas, the same company he joined at 21. Heads down the pub every Friday. They've got two kids, a garden, a dog. She still looks at him like he's the only man in the room. He's never read Atomic Habits. Never "worked on himself." Never bothered to optimize his supplement stack. I moved to four countries, built a business, reinvented my entire life. I wouldn't change any of it. But when he sends a photo of his family eating Sunday roast together, I think maybe we're all overcomplicating this.

@EngRugbyDebate I don’t know why the BJVR case is causing so much stir. Happens in 90% of the international teams, why the fuss all of a sudden?

@ben__investing ETF and chill. Starting in your 20s means you have time on your side, no need to go chasing the next big stock. Compounding returns will be their biggest weapon
