@Carl_Sagan42 Funny, if you're female EVERYTHING is diagnosed as anxiety and never investigated further.

@Jeff_in_3D @mslauryntrill And even if it did happen, I think it's tacky to use it as an opportunity to ask for personal donations. I know full ride doesn't mean paying for supplies. I'm implying that if you live in what looks like upper middle class and are not paying tuition

@mslauryntrill @Jeff_in_3D 4. Amazon wishlist created today, why can't they afford these things living in a seemingly nice house/neighborhood and getting full rides? 5. Cashapp link on her profile

@mslauryntrill @Jeff_in_3D To elaborate on everything suspicious about this post: 1. Vaguely called "resident" instead of name like every fake "hubby/wifey" love note that's posted 2. Only refers to one girl even though there are two 3. Is the literal most generic rich white racist trope

But americans willingly chop their dog's ears off to make them look tough and continue on a "tradition of the breed"

Americans think it's heinous to test pet food on real life pets via teaming with shelters, breeders, or keeping daycare-like testing facilities to see if the food actually keeps the pet alive because it's "animal testing" and all animal testing is ~bad~

"Black people have no culture anymore because we took it from them, so there is nothing to write a story about" Can people please agree with me that this is a supermassive blackhole take

My roommate just told me we're not allowed to make stories about African culture because POC in the US are removed from their old cultures because of slavery, so they will not be able to relate and it would be racist to pretend they can. He literally said at some point

tfw I finally got to speak to a human at Oregon unemployment, just to get told neither they nor I can do any more to get my claim processed (it's paused because they can't get my wage info from when I worked federal). 10+ weeks so far of waiting

@ZeroApology @gamerfrommars @JustinWhang What's this new obsession people have with doing mental gymnastics to prove everyone under the fucking sun has some ulterior motive. Even if he did want money, like wow so fucking evil that he wants money. Damn, how maniacal that people have bills to pay. Absolutely sickening.

@Jeff_in_3D Basically, these couple examples doesn't even begin to touch on what is influenced by jazz

@Jeff_in_3D Jazz is the backbone to literally so many other things. I'm not as adept in music theory as you, but I think in pop, if it isn't a chord progression borrowed from classical music, it's jazz chords. Modern choral and broadway music uses soooo much jazz influence

@ARealCutie_ I don't think any sweeping statement is good. I would prefer to be called female over woman, because the way people say woman always reminds me of statements like "periods and epidural free birth are beautiful and natural" and other defining a sex by their desire to have kids
