@British_Airways #BA 218 scheduled to depart in 30 minutes. Boarding has not begun. No announcement. No info. We’re mushrooms.

@British_Airways #BA 218 just announced that no standby passengers will get seats. People are pissed. Many had already checked bags; told to go back to ticket counter to reclaim bags.

@British_Airways The saga of #BA 218. One #BA gate agent has shown up. Line has 47 people in it.

So #BA 218 was canceled at ~23:00 last night. BA did nothing to help us find overnight accommodations. No vouchers, no shuttle buses, no hotels alerted. Just a form letter telling us how to file for compensation. #BritishAirways

@simon_g Simon — good to hear from you. Your sarcasm is noted. Just FYI, I have MS which makes it hard to sit in confined spaces for hours on end. So we pay extra for business class.

#BA has now rebooked us on the same flights 24 hours later and downgraded us from Business to Economy. The world’s least favourite airline. #BritishAirways

So we were on #BA 218 yesterday. Canceled. Rebooked on to same flight today. They downgraded us from Business to Economy. I can live with it. But I’m annoyed that I don’t even get to sit with my wife. #BritishAirways

Back in line at #BA in Denver to check in for replacement flight. Only two agents to check in an entire 787. Poor service continues. #BritishAirways

I finally got to talk to one of the three. Turns out they don’t work for BA; they’re contractors. Know nothing about BA policies or procedures. What a clown show. And after all this, we still have to transfer in Heathrow, the world’s most obnoxious airport. What’s the point? #BA

BA passengers fuming in Denver. BA218 to London canceled after boarding. We’ve been standing in line to 23 minutes and no one from BA has shown up to help us. #BA #britishairways #whatswrongwithBA

BA218 — still no service personnel. They could have canceled at 19:30 but, no, they made us wait until 21:00. Why do they hate us? #BA #britishairways #whatswrongwithBA
