Don't get me wrong: it does look kinda cool. But trust me when I say it doesn't FEEL as cool. Unless your standards are low... in which case, you win and there's nothing more to say. Lol. With that said, I did it better. 😜
Things like this add to a game's charm. Not only is it a change of pace from the usual monotony of simply accepting/doing quests, but you get a chuckle alongside worldbuilding. Skipping side stuff is a mistake in Stellar Blade, as its writing easily outshines the main story's.

Stellar Blade accidentally(?) rivaled the Metal Gear Solid 3 ladder climbing sequence. 🤣 Honestly, aside from the penultimate boss theme (which I expect most people will like), I don't really think this game's music has missed. Gotta be the best video game soundtrack of 2024.

Fighting human enemies in Stellar Blade is just as satisfying as fighting the Naytibas, thankfully. In case the demo didn't already make it clear, the full game confirms that it does indeed have by far the best parrying mechanic in gaming, next to Sekiro.
Bruh, ain't no way. 🤣 In all seriousness though, this is a good place to practice parry timing. Especially for me, since I spent so much time with Rise of the Ronin's far more punishing parry system. This part single-handedly made me recalibrate to Stellar Blade's timing.

@TrulyEikonic @Grummz What they should do is just have both. The cut and uncut version that way both styles are in the game. So them not censoring and having design choice can both be true.
@TrulyEikonic I died more times on my first normal run than on NG+ Hard. Having all skills available from the start, already knowing the bosses movesets and having learned the game mechanics definitely makes it easier. It would be interesting to see if Shift Up added a harder difficulty.
@TrulyEikonic Just with playing the demo I knew the beta skills were busted. I think if bosses have better defense (e.g reaction evades) could improve it because that means you gotta use your beta skills more carefully. (not a fan of armor too) I would also make the beta skill fill rate lower
