@grgibert But you did. What person would fight a case for 15 years, settle with no admission of wrongdoing and no money paid and require that the details of the settlement be sealed as request by your insurer?

@grgibert I’m just curious why you are contradicting yourself ?

@grgibert You are discussing what you want to say something and invoking the “can’t discuss” when you don’t. You said your insurer required the settlement be sealed. Why would they dictate anything if you didn’t pay a settlement or admit guilt?

@grgibert By settling you admitted wrongdoing and/or paid damages. We don’t know the details of what you admitted to and what damages you paid because you asked that the settlement be sealed. The plaintiff isn’t planning to run for a politics office. You certainly appear to be.

@grgibert This isn’t a criminal case. Why settle this case after 15 years if you are totally innocent? Do you not want to prove your innocence? Sealing the settlement only serves to protect the defendants including yourself. Why seal something that could prove your innocence?

@grgibert Being sealed means your responses are conjecture for anyone not involved with the case. You can’t prove Coach Sherill’s allegations were not true.

@grgibert Was the settlement sealed to protect certain parties? Fifteen years is along time to not adamantly deny something you now claim to be false.

@grgibert Ole Miss has spent a year maligning and spewing hate toward a student athlete at MSU for doing less than she did. I believe adults should take responsibility for their actions. I guess you believe in personal responsibility when it applies to other people.

@grgibert Don’t know about your yearbook, but this situation is going to be a problem with a lot of people in this state.

Is Clarence Chapman’s good buddy @PhilBryantMS pushing the @city_of_clinton to do this for his friend?

Will @city_of_clinton consider a TIF related to the apartments being developed in olde towne by Clarence Chapman and Chartre? How will this property, once built, be assessed? If the income method is used, the citizens of Clinton, MS will foot the tax bill. m.jacksonfreepress.com/news/2010/jul/…

Public honest services fraud occurs when a bribe is paid for a particular decision or when a public official fails to disclose a conflict of interest that results in a personal gain. The way our city is conducting itself begs a lot of questions. Who is actually being served?
