One of the most impactful things you can do as a hitter is to learn how to consistently pull the baseball in the air with good spin This does not mean cheat pull side. Learning to pull the ball correctly means a more efficient bat path that will open up the whole field

Meaning more margin for error, more depth, better direction and more productive contact when you’re off time All signs of a really good hitter Pair that with +bat speed and you will be flat out dangerous at the dish You will start mishitting homers 🚀 Who doesn’t want that?
Pulling the baseball is a trainable skill It’s no different than learning to hit the ball low oppo or line drives to the back of the cage. There’s a time and place to practice all of it, but it’s very obvious what batted ball types are the most productive Train accordingly
@Tstokey @TravisFitta Definitely learn pull the ball in the air but also work on hitting the ball oppo hard (not slice it over softly) to be a complete hitter. Guys with a large differential in oppo to pull EV have low BABIPs in mlb, ideally you want the gap not more than 3-4 mph
