My old boss at the golf course always told me “when you patch up a hole, you gotta make it look like no one was there, or as if nothing had happened.” Always have enjoyed that challenge. Now @WLUWSoccer @WLUmenssoccer can play without a nice hole on their field #turfgenerals

Welp…..had a bit of winterkill on both fields this year🤮Frustrating on a lot of levels. But it happened. Another opportunity to learn. -Among other prep, I aerified both fields 2x yesterday to be ready for some sprigging by @RiversideTurf . Ready to go! #turfgenerals

Had a small cow belly last Monday morning. An annoyed, controlled panic set in because of upcoming @GeneralsWLax games that Wednesday & Sunday. Thankfully it was just an irrigation head that broke off of a riser, that’s it! Heaven sent! Patched it up & good to go! #turfgenerals

Would be nice to cover the whole field.But we’ll go with the goal mouths and bench areas for now.Churning those areas up a bit with the Garden Weasel, throwing some rye down, brooming it in & let the blankets do their thing along with Mother Nature for women’s lacrosse in spring!
